DANBURY, CT– Kevin Remson and Michael Nardi got to celebrate their first goal and first win respectively at practice yesterday. After a long three-day, three-game Showcase in Attleboro, MA, the black-and-orange brigade were happy to be back home if only for a moment.

Remson and Nardi were gifted their “first goal” and “first win” pucks to roaring approval from their teammates. Pucks in hand, the pair of newcomers shared what their emotions were like after their enormous 4-1 win over the previously unbeaten Lewiston/Auburn Nordiques.

“It felt great to get the monkey off my back,” Remson smiled. “My first couple games here, the boys helped me out a lot, they all stayed positive.”

“I didn’t want to get a shot on net at all [in the final minutes], I didn’t want to mess it up,” Nardi joked. “I was ecstatic.”
