Bryce Wallace signs tender to play with Colonials

Defenseman Bryce Wallace has officially signed a tender to play with the Danbury Colonials for the 2020-21 season.

Wallace, an ’03-born Bethel native, practiced with the Colonials on several occasions last season and skated in three games. He made his junior hockey debut on November 10th against the Long Beach Sharks. Wallace also was a teammate of goaltender Alex Fernandes on the BBD high school hockey team based out of Danbury Arena. “I’m so excited to become a part of the Colonials organization,” Wallace said. “I was able to get a sense of the competitive spirit and brotherhood of junior hockey last year. The atmosphere of this team is so great and I can’t wait to develop as a player here.”

“I’m really looking forward to having Bryce in a Colonials uniform next season,” commented head coach Kevin Cunningham. “He’s a hard-nosed player with good skills and a strong hockey sense. Bryce loves to compete, and I believe that he will make the continued adjustment to junior hockey after playing a handful of games with us last season.”
